At G PLAY 2026, Logitech’s most eye-catching new sim racing product is a skin. The RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle is based on the 8 Nm RS50 and comes entirely in papaya orange, with a Formula 1-style steering wheel, priced at €749.99 for the PC version or €849.99 for the PS/PC version. For those who already own an RS or are looking to get one, the most concrete announcement, however, is the RS Pedals SE—a pedal set priced at €119.99 whose Hall-effect brake can be upgraded to a load cell at a later date.

RS Pedals SE: A Hall-effect brake that can function as a clutch

The RS Pedals SE uses the same base plate as the RS Pedals, but its brake does not have a load cell. Its two pedals rely on a Hall-effect magnetic sensor, a choice that Logitech justifies as resulting in reduced wear. The pedal set is then compatible with either a clutch module—sold for less than €40—or a load-cell brake module. With the latter, the original brake pedal functions as a clutch.

When connected via USB to a Windows PC, it operates independently and can therefore be used with a base unit from another brand. On a console, however, it must be connected to a Logitech steering wheel. It’s already available, while the RS Pedals with a 75 kg load cell brake cost just under €150 at the list price.

RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle: The RS50 in Papaya

In the box, Logitech includes the 8 Nm Direct Drive RS50 base unit with TRUEFORCE, the RS Wheel Hub, and the 500 g RS Formula McLaren Racing Edition steering wheel. Also included are a desk clamp and a set of RS Pedals limited to the gas and brake pedals, with the brake pedal featuring a 75 kg force sensor; a clutch pedal is not included.

Under the hood, nothing sets this package apart from a standard RS50, as the changes are purely cosmetic. On the base model, the air intakes are painted papaya, and the side panels feature the McLaren Formula 1 Team logo. The two knobs on the hub also have papaya-colored rings, whereas they are blue on the standard hub. The heel rest on the pedals bears the inscription “WELCOME TO THE GRID,” which is also featured on the base model.

For the steering wheel, Logitech drew inspiration from the one on the MCL38 single-seater, and a quote from Bruce McLaren appears on the back. This steering wheel was already available for purchase on its own for less than €120, so the novelty lies in the complete bundle, which Logitech is pairing with the Playseat Instinct McLaren Racing Edition cockpit. Logitech has not yet announced a release date.

PC Versions: The RS50 System and the G923 are not compatible with consoles

These PC-exclusive versions—the RS50 System at €579.99 and the G923 at €279.99—feature the same hardware as the console models, but lack their compatibility. None of these announcements, however, affect torque: Logitech remains at 8 Nm with the RS50 and 11 Nm with its PRO line. The brand thus leaves the 12–15 Nm range to MOZA, with the R12, and Fanatec, with the ClubSport DD. Yet this is precisely the range for drivers looking to step up a notch after their first direct-drive base.
