Where to buy Fanatec in France (Resellers)

Sim Racing Nerd

As an expert in sim racing, I test the best racing wheels, cockpits and games to help you make the right choice.

There aren’t many companies active in the sim-racing industry, at least not those offering quality products. Logitech, Thrustmaster and of course Fanatec are among the top 10 manufacturers of high-quality peripherals for people who love sim-racing.

Personally, I’m a big fan of Fanatec and its products. I love them and they’re simply the best as far as I’m concerned. I remember the very first time I got my hands on one of their peripherals, a steering wheel. From the very first contact and the first time I held it in my hands, I knew that quality and premium were the watchwords of this brand, and that’s still the case today.

I was seduced by sim-racing many years ago, and have plunged heart and soul into this discipline. And to get started, you have to get the products, or peripherals in our case. Between the CSL DD base, Podium Wheel Base DD2, McLaren GT3 steering wheel and Clubsport Pedals V3, the choice is vast at Fanatec.

In this article, I’ll look at where to buy Fanatec peripherals in France.

Where can I find Fanatec products?

With the democratization of the Internet, Fanatec has used this “platform” to boost sales and reach new regions. Today, the brand sells its products in several countries around the world, both in Europe and America. It has to be said that its fans are everywhere, and above all very numerous. If you weren’t a fan of sim-racing and Fanatec, I’m sure you’d need just 30 minutes with a good game and the brand’s peripherals to fall in love.

So Fanatec sells its products on its website, with categories and all available peripherals. All the steering wheels, pedals, shifters, bases, etc. that are currently available for sale, you’ll find on the Fanatec site, sometimes even with promotions and bundles.

Where to buy Fanatec products

If you’d like to purchase one of Fanatec‘s peripherals today, I regret to inform you that they are only available online, on the brand’s website. Fanatec has no partnerships for the resale of its products, and prefers to handle distribution itself.

On the one hand, this is understandable when it comes to delivery, bundles, pricing and so on. But on the other hand, it poses a problem: availability. As sales are limited to the Fanatec website, you won’t be able to get your hands on these products the same day. You’ll have to place your order and wait a few days – typically 3 to 5 days – to receive your items, and that’s only if the products are in stock. If not, you’ll have to wait longer.

Also, this approach is not very optimal when it comes to getting to grips with the brand’s peripherals. Since sales are exclusively online, you won’t be able to try out the steering wheel or any other of the brand’s peripherals before you buy. You’ll have to base your purchase on online tests and comparisons, not on a sim-racing session.

If you want to dive into sim-racing and buy Fanatec products, I’d advise you to make friends who already have setups with Fanatec peripherals, so that you can try them out at home and see if this or that peripheral suits you. It’s not optimal, of course, but it has the luxury of working.

Alternatively, you have the option of searching the Internet for specific Fanatec products. You’ll find a myriad of articles, YouTube videos and tests on almost every Fanatec product.
