During the SimRacing Expo 2025, many sim-racing peripheral manufacturers made announcements about new products, and Simagic did the same. The Asian manufacturer added a number of new products to its catalog, aimed at making it even more attractive to virtual drivers who are reluctant to settle down. It started with the Alpha Evo range of bases, and continues with the recent announcements.
The first is the brand’s most powerful Direct Drive base: the Alpha Evo Ultra, a device that develops 28 nm of torque and is equipped with a 21-bit encoder. This base is based on the Evo range, with a long casing and RGB to give it literal color. RGB can be set via software, if you’re interested.

The second announcement is for a new crankset called the P700. It features 2 pedals, an all-metal structure, Hall sensors on the pedals, and a Load Cell on the brake that takes 150 kg of input force. Power-wise, the new P700 will do better than Simagic’s P1000, and in fact, its design is halfway between the P1000 and the P2000, I think. The dress is black, with a few red accents and rubber on the footrest to prevent accidental slipping. Each pedal is, of course, adjustable in a number of ways, including spacing, tilt, springs, elastomers and so on. It’s a Simagic product, and I don’t really need to paint a picture here.

The third announcement is a brand-new Formula steering wheel. It’s called the Zeus Formula, and it will join the FX Pro in bringing a new twist to the range. The Zeus Formula is based on an all-aluminium structure, CNC-machined. The faceplate uses carbon fiber, with a screen in the center, controls all around, paddles on the rear and the brand’s QR to match. Another interesting point to mention about this steering wheel is the handles. These are closed at the bottom, rather than open as on the FX Pro. In absolute terms, it doesn’t make much difference, but some riders prefer it that way.

So, we know what the brand has announced, but we have no idea of price or availability. As far as the price tag is concerned, I think Simagic will take a conservative approach and keep its prices down. As for availability, I’m counting on the first quarter of 2026.
