Backed by its experience and leading position in the world of PC watercooling, Asetek has rapidly made a name for itself in the sim-racing market. Following in the footsteps of brands such as Simucube, Asetek SimSports offers very premium, well-appointed products that, above all, blur the line between reality and virtual reality.
The Danish brand’s catalog may be limited, but its products are not only high-performance, they’re also ultra-premium. And Asetek’s new entry is no exception to the rule, as the brand has just unveiled a brand-new wheel in the Forte range, the Formula Pro, a wheel designed for drivers adept at motorsport’s premier discipline.

The steering wheel is based on a forged full-carbon-fiber structure, with modular handles. At the front, there’s a huge screen displaying a range of data essential for track driving. At the rear are 2 magnetic paddles and the brand’s QR, derived from Simucube’s, which is not only compatible with Asetek bases, but also those of competitors via an adapter.
Price and availability: over €780, with deliveries starting in August. Note that you can benefit from a discount of up to 15% if you pre-order this wheel now, and that at this price too, you’ll only get the central module, or botton box. You’ll need to add handles to get a functional steering wheel, and Asetek offers 4 in all. These can be exchanged for between €90 and €120, depending on the model and material used.
