MOZA HMA150, R16 Ultra, farming: the ecosystem is expanding

MOZA has bundled several announcements under a single date, July 28: a movement system, an AI layer, enhancements to racing and flight, and an unexpected foray into farming. That covers a lot of ground all at once—and there’s a real logic behind it.

Two categories where we didn’t expect MOZA

First point: The brand is breaking new ground in two areas. The HMA150 Haptic Motion System is its first full-range motion system. Four actuators beneath the chassis move the entire unit in pitch, roll, and yaw: 150 mm of travel, up to 300 mm/s, 350 kg platform load capacity, vibrations up to 200 Hz, and an integrated controller. At €3,199 for a set of four, this is clearly a premium product, living up to the brand’s stated ambitions.

The other new product is more understated: the Farming Control System (€209). It’s not a steering wheel, but a set consisting of a Hall-effect joystick, a throttle, and a control panel, with 46 programmable inputs, designed for Farming Simulator 25 and compatible with truck and heavy equipment simulators. Two markets in one go.

AI: The Common Thread

Second point: software—and undoubtedly the most interesting one. AI Motion, within Motion Manager, analyzes a game’s video and audio in real time to generate movement and vibrations, even without telemetry. MOZA clarifies that this complements native telemetry rather than replacing it: when data is available, it takes precedence. The same logic applies to training with AI Coach—already available in Pit House—which can control the steering wheel and pedals to let you physically feel the AI’s racing line, braking, and throttle control. The message is clear: after the hardware, MOZA is banking on software to set itself apart. It’s a bold ambition: to bring the action to life even in games that don’t expose their telemetry, and to extend the immersion to a much broader catalog.

Running and Flying: The Lineup Takes It Up a Notch

Third point: the brand is building on its strengths. For racing, the R16 Ultra features a 16 Nm Direct Drive base (flat-wire motor, 21-bit encoder, 600 MHz processor, latest-generation NexGen FFB algorithm, €549), while the R5 Pro Racing Simulator offers a complete DD package (6 Nm base unit, ES Lite steering wheel, SRP Lite2 pedal set, desk mount) for €419, with a truck-mount variant available for €529. In flight simulation—where MOZA is already established—the AY90 adds a more affordable force-feedback yoke (4.2 Nm of roll force, compatible with MSFS, X-Plane, and DCS, €419), and the MFY Pro features a 4.3-inch touchscreen joystick (€309). These are great options for expanding or upgrading an existing setup.

What This Really Changes

Taken together, these products outline a strategy: the full-stack approach. MOZA develops its hardware, algorithms, and software in-house, and targets the entire experience—from racing to flying, from farming to movement—using the same suite of tools. It’s a coherent approach, and it’s exactly what made MOZA a success in Direct Drive. By covering movement, racing, flight, and farming with a single in-house approach, MOZA is achieving much more than just a product milestone. Orders open on July 28.
