For simracers in search of the Holy Grail of force feedback, patience is a virtue that will soon be rewarded. Simucube has finally confirmed the shipping date for its long-awaited Simucube 3 Ultimate: it will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026. This announcement, made at the first edition of the SimRacing Expo in Charlotte, which attracted almost 9,000 visitors, puts an end to months of speculation, when the base was listed as out-of-stock on the manufacturer’s website without the slightest indication of its availability. A must-see event for anyone wishing to push their setup to the extreme.
The promise of uncompromising immersion
With a claimed torque of 35 Nm, the Simucube 3 Ultimate is no half-measure, and is aimed at the most demanding virtual pilots. It’s a power that far exceeds the 15 Nm of the Sport and 25 Nm of the Pro, clearly signalling its position at the top of the range. The objective is crystal-clear: to offer the most faithful and detailed reproduction possible of the forces at play on the track. We can already imagine the precision with which we’ll be able to feel every asperity, every slide, every variation in grip, making the on-track experience more tangible than ever. It’s a question of nuance, where less powerful underpinnings can sometimes mask certain information.
Beyond brute force, Simucube’s on-board technology promises unparalleled responsiveness. We’re talking here about a Spoke IPM engine, which the Finnish brand presents as the fastest and most precise they’ve ever designed. This technical choice aims to minimize latency and maximize telemetry fidelity. In other words, force feedback will be cleaner and sharper, without the “noise” that can sometimes pollute sensations on other bases. The rider thus receives direct, unfiltered information, making it easier to anticipate and adjust his riding.

Material and financial investment
The excellence of the Simucube 3 Ultimate comes at a price, and it’s a significant one: expect to pay around €3,299 or $, depending on regional variations and taxes. This price clearly positions it in the ultra-high-end segment, aimed at enthusiasts ready to invest heavily in their equipment. It’s a hefty sum, but one that reflects the technological sophistication and level of engineering that Simucube puts into its products to deliver a cutting-edge experience.
That said, make no mistake: such power requires the right environment. 35 Nm of torque can’t be harnessed at a desk. It’s imperative to have a chassis of unfailing rigidity, capable of absorbing without batting an eyelid the colossal force feedback that the base itself is capable of generating. If your uprights or steering wheel plate flex, you’ll lose some of the feel and won’t be able to take full advantage of the Ultimate’s potential. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to invest in a suitable sim-racing cockpit.
For connectivity, the Simucube 3 Ultimate incorporates the proprietary LightBridge system, which guarantees contactless power supply and data transmission, ensuring clean, reliable integration. All this is dressed up in the distinctive black and orange chassis that is Simucube’s visual signature. In short, June 16, 2026 isn’t just a delivery date, it’s the kick-off for those aiming for the top of the sim racing pyramid.
